After seeing thousands of articles about acai berries, their virtues and benefits, I really wanted to try them out, even if they do cost their weight in gold. I looked on iHerb, and was lucky enough to find a decent bargain, so I took my chance. Now that I mention it, I have to admit that one of the things I’ve really missed since moving to Berlin has been iHerb – thanks German customs!
Easy Breakfast Acai Bowl
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen berries 100 grams
- 1 tsp acai powder
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/4 cup coconut water 150 ml
Place ingredients in a high-speed blender and pulse until you've reached a soft and creamy consistency. Use a bit more coconut water if needed or try help the frozen fruits to break down with a stick -you want a nice-cream finish!
Serve in a bowl and top with some Nut and Coconut Granola, more shredded coconut, bee pollen, chia seed and fruits of choice.
